ADULT SERVICES

Blue Heart Residential provides specialist children’s residential care and adult supported living services, working in partnership with local authorities to deliver safe, compliant, and compassionate homes.

What We Do

At Blue Heart Residential, we provide safe, nurturing homes and person-led support for children, young people, and adults.

Care is delivered by experienced, compassionate staff who are carefully recruited, well trained, and consistently supported, ensuring high standards of care for individuals with complex needs.

Our homes follow a trauma-informed, therapeutically-led approach, supported by strong leadership and a culture that prioritises staff wellbeing — creating safe, stable environments where people feel valued, supported, and secure.

The HeartWings Model

Small steps. Safe spaces. Strong wings.

A transformation pathway for children and young people, inspired by the natural journey of a butterfly.

The HeartWings Model is Blue Heart Residential’s therapeutic framework built around the natural transformation of a butterfly – a journey from protection, through growth, into confidence, and finally independence.

Our Approach

Person-Led Support

We take time to understand each individual’s background, needs, and goals. Support is tailored around the person — not a one-size-fits-all model.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Our approach recognises the impact of trauma and adversity. We focus on consistency, safety, and building trusting relationships that support long-term stability.

Skilled, Supported Staff

Care is delivered by carefully recruited, well-trained staff who receive ongoing supervision, development, and wellbeing support to maintain high standards of care.

Safe, Structured Environments

We provide stable, well-managed homes with clear routines, positive boundaries, and robust safeguarding, supporting people to live safely and with dignity.

Our Homes

Children & Young People

We create safe, supportive homes where children and young people can settle, feel secure, and be cared for consistently. Our trauma-informed approach is delivered by skilled, committed staff and meets CIW and Ofsted standards, with a strong focus on safeguarding, stability, and everyday wellbeing.

CHILDREN’S HOMES

Adult Supported Living

We support adults to live safely and independently in supported living environments that feel like home. Care is shaped around the individual, delivered by trained and compassionate staff, and guided by CQC and CIW principles, promoting dignity, choice, and stability.
