I believe every young person deserves to feel safe, listened to, and valued, and I lead teams in a way that promotes positive relationships, consistency, and high standards. I work collaboratively with staff and professionals to create nurturing environments where young people can develop confidence, resilience, and independence.

Deputy Manager
I am a dedicated Deputy Manager at Blue Heart Care, working within a residential children’s home to support young people with complex needs. With over eight years of experience in residential childcare, I bring a strong combination of leadership, safeguarding expertise, and hands-on practice to my role.

I hold a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare and have extensive experience supporting staff teams, promoting positive outcomes for children and young people, and maintaining high standards of care in line with regulatory requirements. I am passionate about creating safe, nurturing, and trauma-informed environments where young people can develop, achieve stability, and reach their full potential.

I am a Residential Support Worker at Blue Heart Care. I have 2 years experience working with children and young people and I am currently working towards my Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People.

As a Team Leader, I am responsible for helping to create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children and young people. I lead by example by supporting Residential Support Workers to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care that promotes emotional wellbeing, stability, and positive outcomes. I understand the importance of relationships and strive to build trust, consistency, and a sense of belonging for every child.

I contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, behaviour support strategies, and risk assessments, always placing the child’s emotional and physical safety at the centre of my practice. Safeguarding is a core responsibility, and I work closely with managers, professionals, and families to ensure consistent, child-centred care.
